Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt entered the hall of fame of married celebrities a few months ago, in a ceremony which some observers noted seemed a bit rushed. And in the end, some things were still forgotten – including “minor” details like the wedding cake, as was revealed by Angelina Jolie recently.
According to the actress, the couple forgot a few important elements of the preparation in their rush, but they actually managed to get everything prepared in just a couple of weeks. However, after all the preparations were done, not everything was exactly as planned – most notably, the wedding cake was missing from the picture, the reason being that Jolie and Pitt had simply forgotten about it. Having six kids definitely seems to have its benefits though, as the cake was saved by one of their sons. In the end, it seems that the wedding managed to go through relatively smoothly, and everyone was happy. Jolie herself seemed particularly excited about the whole ordeal, actually – according to her, this marriage has been coming for a long time, and it felt nice to finally have it made official like that. She stated that she felt a strong connection to her partner, and their relationship must truly be something special if they’ve never questioned it after going through so much together.
Angelina Jolie went on to describe the couple’s married life since the ceremony, explaining that their marriage has actually been quite a lot of work so far. According to her though, it’s been completely worth it, and she couldn’t be happier in her choice of a life partner. The most difficult part so far, she said, has been balancing her private and personal life, making sure that her actions at work don’t have an impact on her family. It’s easy to see that from the outside, but it’s apparently some serious effort on the couple’s part.
In any case, it’s always nice to see celebrities making such a perfect match and sticking to their chosen ones for so long, especially when it’s a relationship that has proven to benefit not only them, but also many people around them. It’s also good to see that both Pitt and Jolie aren’t neglecting their careers in the name of their marriages, and they have continued contributing to their respective fields on a consistent basis, especially Jolie lately.
