Although she believed that Pitt loved Jolie, Jen didn’t really believe that she was meant to stay with him. The “Mother’s Day” star says that she always felt that Angelina was too complex while Brad’s a pretty simple guy.
US Weekly adds that while Aniston has described Brad’s second marriage as karma, she doesn’t harbor ill feelings about them anymore. Aniston says that she never wished it for them ever especially because kids are involved.
The 47-year-old actress has since moved on from the split. She married Justin Theroux last year after two years of dating.
The website notes that Jen does wish Brad luck and the best. She’s happy now and she wants him to be happy too. Angelina was also previously married to actors Jonny Lee Miller and Billy Bob Thorton. The marriages were short-lived with both lasting only three years.
The pair wed last August 2014 after 10 years of being together. They have long aired their stance that they will not wed until same-sex couples were already allowed to marry.
The couple recently worked together in the film “By the Sea” where they played a married couple drifting apart. The film was written and directed by Jolie but received mixed to negative reviews.
