The rumor mills are swirling wildly these days about the troubled marriage of power couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt apparently because of Jennifer Aniston again, Brad’s ex-wife.
The rift supposedly began when Brad Pitt failed to accompany his wife to the Critics’ Choice Awards last January 15, where Angelina came across Jennifer Aniston, who was also in attendance during the ceremony, notes Life & Style.
Upon getting home, she was fuming mad with her husband and even called Brad a ‘coward’ for not being man enough to be with her when she’s in front of his ex-wife.
It was not clear why Angelina was so mad when she got home or whether she and Jennifer Aniston talked or had an argument during the Critics Choice Awards.
An explosive argument
The result was an explosive argument between the two. Although Brad tried to appease his wife, Angelina reportedly pushed him away and told him not to touch her.
That piqued the “Fury” actor and decided to storm out of the house along with several of his belongings.
Brangelina has been living together for over 10 years. They have officially tied the knot only in August last year and now have six children.
They have had numerous skirmishes in the past about Jennifer Aniston but Brad always assures her wife that she has nothing to worry with Jen as he is very faithful to her and their family.
The incident happened almost two weeks ago but the press only got wind of it almost recently so it is not clear if the situation at the Brangelina house is still the same or if the couple has already patched things up.
Getting worse
While latest reports say that the marriage of the two is now in trouble after the incident, neither Brad Pitt nor Angelina Jolie has made any official announcement or pronouncement to either confirm or deny that their marriage is on the rocks.
An insider close to the couple said that the situation between Angelina and Brad right now is so bad that people are beginning to wonder if the two would ever celebrate their first wedding anniversary come August 2015.
Fans of the power couple however are confident that Brad and Angelina would make it to the same page eventually since they have lived long enough to be torn by a very petty issue.
Several media have also asked Jennifer Aniston if she has said something to Angelina Jolie that got her so fuming mad during the Critics Choice Awards after but Jen said no. She said that the issue between her and Brangelina has been like a dirty old sneaker so it’s time to throw it away and wear a new one. Jen said that she does not have any beef with Angelina or Brad and could only continue wishing them well with their growing family.
