The fact that it has Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt in it should definitely be a serious boost to its popularity, but as we know that will not be enough to guarantee the film’s success. There are other factors that have to line up in order for this all to work out properly, but we trust that Angelina Jolie has done her job and her fans are going to see something worth watching. It could have a good impact on her popularity with regards to her writing, something that she definitely deserves.
There has been a good amount of marketing about the film before it came out too, and Jolie has been doing a fine job keeping her fans aware that she is working on her new production.
The teaser that was released some time ago particularly enjoyed a lot of attention from fans of the actress/director, and it drove up interest in the film significantly.
Some time will have to pass before we can give an actual verdict about the performance of the production on the market, but things are looking relatively mixed for now and we are not sure if this release will be as successful as Jolie was probably planning. While it will get some attention on her, she apparently could have done it better in some ways.
