Despite her and her kids’ invitation, Angelina Jolie and her six kids spent Thanksgiving Dinner without her estranged husband, Brad Pitt. The incident has once again fuelled the rage of Angie over Brad that she is now doing everything legally possible to win her custody battle in courts with the “Fight Club” actor.
Brad initially admitted that he was badly crushed by spending Thanksgiving alone but it seems that he is starting to adjust to the reality that he might not be around to celebrate other holidays with his kids.
Though Christmas is fast approaching, the former power couple is not bothered by the season’s meaning of love and forgiveness. Angelina has recently denied Brad’s demand to have a 30-minute therapeutic visitation to their children which made him more feel frustrated and helpless.
Previous reports said that prior to Thanksgiving, both Angelina and Brad gave in and allowed themselves to have a ceasefire from their divorce battle and arrange an informal truce for the sake of their kids who really need to cope up with the situation. However, latest reports are now saying otherwise.
Angelina no longer invited Brad to spend Christmas with the kids which made him more upset. As the divorce battle is increasingly becoming bitter, Brad might be spending Christmas without the company of his kids again.
Though the kids have greatly expressed their high hopes to reunite their parents, it seems clear that the broken relationship of Brad and Angelina is already hard to mend. Even their 10-year-old son Shiloh, who was most badly affected, failed to push his parents to spend Thanksgiving together and be like a whole family again just like in the old days.
How it all started
On September 15, Angelina filed a divorce against her former husband due to his alleged alcohol abuse and anger management issues. In particular, what triggered her action was Brad’s violent alleged behavior against their 15-year-old son, Maddox, who was reportedly physically hurt while they were on a private jet for a trip.
However, the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services has already cleared Brad from the allegations.
As much as Brad is persistent to get joint legal child custody, Angelina is more than willing to take an all-out war and take the divorce battle to favor her appeal for sole custody.
Some reports were also saying that California divorce attorney David Pisarra confirmed Angelina’s plan to turn the child custody evaluations to a long and expensive process. He also added that psychological therapists for kids might cost $250,000 or more to run mental and behavioral evaluations on them.
Brad has recently asked to seal the documents and reports on the status of their divorce case from the public for the sake of their children’s privacy. But the court’s judge has denied granting his request.
There are also reports saying that Angelina’s lawyer is assuming that Brad is trying to keep his legal moves in private.
Marion Cotillard accused of having an affair with Brad Pitt
The 41-year-old “Allied” female co-star of Brad, Marion Cotillard, was not able to flee the rumors from the ongoing Brangelina divorce issue. Speculations say she was already having an affair with Brad during the production of their movie.
Marion decided to break her silence during an interview with NBC Today. She mentioned that the gossip didn’t bother her that much because it is not true and she just shook it off so she could still continue promoting her World War II-inspired film with Brad.
She even posted a long message on her Instagram account proving that she is not involved in the highly publicized Brangelina separation.
Cotillard proudly stated in her post that she’ll soon have her second child and that she is very much happy and satisfied with her husband, French actor Guillaume Canet.
She also sarcastically thanked the media and her haters for widely involving her in the issue and even advised them to move on and wished the couple for a swift recovery from their ordeal.
