Still, it is true that their devices tend to get Android updates very late, and they’re usually among the last to receive new versions of the OS. This has caused some problems for the company as some of their users have been growing frustrated with the situation, to the point where they have started to consider alternative phones.
Motorola have been putting effort into ensuring that they can work on their updates faster though, so hopefully we will see this situation changing in the future. They don’t make that many serious changes to the operating system in the first place, so they shouldn’t have such a hard time releasing their own brand of updates for it.
If they do find a way to streamline and optimize their development process, we should hopefully start seeing a more regular release schedule from them in the coming months, although there is no indication that this is happening right now, looking at their current release trends.

This is taking too long, we need to get this faster. I got the phone and I am still waiting for this update. FYI… The galaxy s3 now has lollipop update but we (turbo) don’t have it.
