It was not Andrew’s only criticism of Trump during the show. When he arrived on the show, he also praised Colbert’s attempts to hold the US President accountable for his actions.
Garfield said that he just loves the show and loves what Stephen Colbert is doing. He said that host is voicing everyone’s political sentiments out in the open while keeping it light.
He said that he is very grateful that Stephen Colbert is reflecting a lot of the horrors that he and other Americans are feeling in their hearts and body and he appreciate that as well.
Incidentally, the kiss between Garfield and Reynolds happened at the 2017 Golden Globes where Andrew Garfield’s former girlfriend and now very good friend Emma Stone was present. The actress even went on to win the Best Actress award for a Musical or a Comedy and complete the romp of “La La Land” in the ceremonies.
Critics believe that both Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone will do a repeat of their victories in the upcoming 2017 Academy Awards on February 26. It would have been interesting if the press asked Emma Stone what her thoughts are following the show-stealing kiss between her former lover and Ryan Reynolds.
