Actress Emma Stone has confirmed in an interview last month that she and former boyfriend Andrew Garfield have indeed broken up in October last year and that they are now enjoying the space that they have each given the other as they focus on their respective acting careers.
Interestingly, both actors are quite busy with loads of filming assignments and despite rumors of being linked with their co-stars on the movies that they are working on, it would seem that those are merely speculations and hype to promote those movies and not the real thing.
It could be recalled that Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone started hitting it off as a couple when they did the two “The Amazing Spider-Man” movies that came out in theaters in 2012 and in 2014.
Thus, fans and critics are saying that it is possible that if and when the right film project comes along that would pit them together as the main stars, it is likely that they would rekindle their romance.
A TV series version of the romantic film
As early as 2015, there were already reports saying that the commercially and critically-acclaim romantic movie “The Notebook” will be having a TV series version. The reports are rife that it is possible that Andrew Garfield and Emma Watson are being considered by the producers of the TV series to take on the role of Noah and Allie, respectively.
In the movie, the roles of Noah and Allie were taken on by Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams, who ended up as real-life lovers afterward. Though their relationship did not last long as Ryan Gosling is now living together with partner Eva Mendes and they now share a one-year-old daughter together.
The reports about Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone working together on “The Notebook” TV series are surely exciting their fans of the possibility of seeing the two of them together again, notes Game & Guide.
However, it has yet to be confirmed by would-be producers if there would indeed be a “The Notebook” TV series anytime soon so everything about it remains as speculations.
Is reunion not possible anymore?
There are also reports going around saying that Andrew Garfield may already find it difficult to reunite with Emma Stone as the actor is said to be singing beautiful music together with Dakota Johnson, his co-star in the movie “Under the Silver Lake,” reports the Parent Herald.
The same rumors are saying that the two are cozying up to each other on the set of their new movie which came out even before filming for “Under the Silver Lake” began so it appears to be inaccurate.
It could be recalled that Emma Stone was also being linked to Ryan Gosling while they were filming “La La Land” but as it turned out, those were mere rumors to hype their third pairing together after “Crazy Stupid Love” and “The Gangster Squad.”
Based on the recent pronouncements of Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield, it seems that they are still in love with one another and that they are merely taking time off from each other because they are busy working on various film projects.
In fact, after Emma Stone admitted in her recent interview with Vogue magazine that she still loves her former boyfriend Andrew Garfield very much, it seems that “The Amazing Spider-Man” actor is reciprocating the same emotions, without saying it in public, though.
Apparently, Andrew Garfield has been rumored to be having a romance with actress Dakota Johnson, who is her leading lady for their upcoming film “Under the Silver Lake” which is currently in production.
Reports have it that Dakota Johnson appears to be falling for Andrew Garfield but the actor simply refused to fall for the pretty American actress because he keeps on thinking Emma Stone because he is still very much in love with her.
Andrew and Dakota were often spotted casually flirting with each other during and after the filming of “Under the Silver Lake,” that some observers and critics are saying that there seems to be a real connection between the two.
