There are plenty of ties to the Marvel Universe as you can probably imagine. In July of last year, Darkforce was announced as being part of the season and that is where Doctor Strange comes into play. Darkforce is known as Zero Matter and is the result of a nuclear test that went wrong.
Zero Matter can also be found in the older comics and that is where the producers found most of the story line that follows that character around. In order to make it as real as possible Agent Carter tries to tell the story behind how Zero Matter started. The research team met with a real life physicist to get it right.
Agent Carter Season 2 is going to have to fill some big shoes as it follows the great ratings of season one. Even though the ratings did show a little by the end of the season, it started strong with more than ten million viewers for each of the first two episodes.
