Adam Lambert was born in 1982 and has been stage acting since he was a young child. You will remember his name because he was the runner up in the 8th season of American Idol. Even though Lambert did not win that season, he still signed a recording deal and released his first album called For Your Entertainment in 2009. The album reached number 3 on the Billboard 200 and was in the top 10 in several other countries. He also released 3 singles from that album that were international successes.
Lambert has a flamboyant, theatrical style and a powerful, technically skilled voice that has been influenced by various artists, and genres according to the artist. Back in 2011, he was nominated for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance at the Grammys and an honorary GLAAD Media Award in 2013. Just 3 years after releasing his first album, it had already sold more than 2 million copies worldwide. Shortly after that, Lambert became known as the first openly gay mainstream pop artist on a major label in the United States.
Recently Adam Lambert was on television as he returns to American Idol as a guest mentor. Shortly after that, he appeared on RuPaul’s Drag Race as a judge and released a compilation album in May of last year. Some of the biggest news came for Adam Lambert when he, Roger Taylor and Brian may of Queen announced last year that they will be staging their first official tour throughout North America. According to reports Adam Lamberts style and expertise fit in perfectly with Queens music. Within the first month of the tour, shows in New York sold out within one day and 5 dates were added due to the demand for the show.
Adam Lambert has been very busy over the last 5 years and other than singing, donates much of his time and money to worthy causes. According to reports, as of 2011 his financial donations have reached the $1 million mark. In 2009, when he turned 28, Lambert asked fans to donate to DonorsChoose.org in lieu of gifts. According to reports, his fans donated more than $320,000.
Now that Lambert is done touring with Queen, he can set working on new album, according to what he posted on Twitter. Recently, a new album is on the way with one track previewed online called “Ghost Town”. According to Lambert, the new single will be released April 21, 2015 and it will be a part of The Original High album. For Adam Lambert’s fans, this is very good news and it is expected to reach number one on the Billboard charts very easily.

The Queen + Adam Lambert tour consisted of 36 sold out shows in Canada, the USA, South Korea, Australia and New Zealand in 2014.
In January and February of this year the tour continued in the UK and Europe for 26 amazing shows.
