Incidentally, Rami Malek, who plays the socially awkward and clinically depressed programmer Elliot Anderson in the American psychological thriller drama TV series “Mr. Robot” on the USA Network, was named Best Lead Actor for Drama during the recently held 2016 Emmy Awards on September 19.
Before he got the award, he was actually made as one of the presenters along with versatile TV actress Abigail Spencer, where she had some awkward moments.
After Malek bagged the Best Lead Actor for Drama, Spencer shortly took to Twitter to say that she was the actor’s lucky charm and also posting a Snapchat video of the two of them together during the presentation of one of the awards.
It was the first time that Spencer attended the Emmy Awards and just like in her previous red carpet appearances in the past, she looks stunning.
She also said on Twitter that she feels honored to be given a role in the Emmy Awards but she had her usual goosebumps before the event considering that it is her first time to be at the prestigious event for TV entertainers.
At the end of the event, she also thanked the people who made her look good in the event and also said that she was a goof ball from the gulf breeze that was standing in her dream. She ended her tweet by saying that she is quite grateful and putting red lips emoji after her message.
