That does not really bode well for her character as it makes it sound like she is going to be killed off, or at least moved from that role to another, possibly. Fans of Abigail Spencer can only hope that she is going to be able to enjoy the entire season.
With popular shows these days, it would seem that the trend is to kill of and replace “main” characters to keep the shock value high. Abigail Spencer mentioned that all of the southern tones that were obvious in the first season are most likely to find a way back to the newest season.
Of course, she did not go into very much detail regarding the new season, but that is expected. The first season took place in L.A., which is a very different place compared to Central Valley where the second season is expected to take place.
