The interview also brought up a somewhat humorous question, what category Spencer would add to the Emmys if she had the chance. According to her, she would like to see awards for Best Supporting Supporting Actor and Actress. She seems to recognize various people who would be deserving of that title, but there are too many of them to list.
We can’t tell how serious she was with that, but it definitely is some truth to the idea that some actors serve an important role keeping the whole plot together and yet they do it in a different way than standard supporting actors.
Let’s hope that Spencer will continue to deliver work that makes it worth to sit down in front of the TV for a few hours and binge on an entire season or two, as the actress is one of the most capable professionals in the TV field right now, and she can definitely do a lot more to keep her fans happy in the future.
