A few days before the airing of the rest of the episodes of Season 5 of the dancing contest reality TV series “Dance Moms” on the Lifetime channel, star Abby Lee Miller has hinted in a recent interview that she might not be coming back for the sixth season of the show next year.
The rest of the episodes of Season 5 of “Dance Moms” will resume airing on June 9.
During an interview with Entertainment Tonight at her new Los Angeles dance studio, Miller talked about several behind-the-scenes conflicts that emerged over the past few months.
She disclosed that there are some sorts of conflicts with the show producers, and even the network which she feels could eventually result to the blocking of the production of the show’s Season 6, notes ET Online.
Miller also added that the network has also been delayed in paying her based on their agreed terms of payment so money matter has to be brought first onto the table for discussion before even talking about Season 6.
Missing Abby
The “Dance Moms” star also revealed that fans of the show would surely notice that for the remainder of the episodes for Season 5, she will be inconspicuously missing in a lot of them.
She detailed that there have been some sort of altercation during one of the competitions. For some reasons, the producer threw her out and she left without even arguing.
Abby said that if the producers of “Dance Moms” believe that they can do the show without her then they should just do it without her.
She explained that the conflict originated from the persistence of some of the mothers of the contestants to have their kids attend classes which she finds as a joke because they should have thought about it before they joined the competition.
Disrupting dance studio classes
Miller said that she had to fight with production during the first three seasons of “Dance Moms” because of the desire of several mothers to have their kids attend normal classes. She says that those efforts would disrupt her classes at her dance studio.
She also denied reports that “Dance Moms” has brought in business to her dance studio which she exclaimed as the opposite. Miller said that some of the kids left the show because the crew have been pushing them out of the way. For her, nothing is more important than the kids attending her class and continuing their training.
There have been reports recently that the versatility and popularity of “Dance Moms” star Nia Sioux has gotten into her head. Nia and her mom Holly have taken the brunt of the most of the anger of show star Abby Lee Miller over rumors that they are leaving “Dance Moms” soon.
