Collaboration seems to be the way to go for top music artists to be able to give something new to their fans.
Lady Gaga appears to be taking that approach very seriously after already teaming up with classic balladeer Tony Bennett. She was also shown recently teaming up with Adele for a new music that appears to be in the works too.
The latest in the collaboration endeavours of the “Bad Romance” singer is that with Sir Paul McCartney of the famed Beatles. The two are said to be collaborating on a secret project, whose details remain secret, details Yahoo! News from a Cover Media report.
The Beatles legend is also fresh from teaming up with Kanye West and Rihanna on new music for their respective new albums.
It was actually Sir Paul McCartney who recruited Lady Gaga to work on some music of his own.
Proud of being able to work with a legend
Lady Gaga was naturally proud of being given the opportunity to work with a legendary music artist like Paul McCartney so there was no way she could say no to his proposal.
In fact, to show her excitement of her latest collaboration work, she posted several photos of her and Paul McCartney surrounded by a dozen musicians on her Instagram account hinting that the two of them are working on a very exciting new project.
She also captioned the photos she posted on Instagram citing that she had a beautiful session with Sir Paul McCartney and friends and that they are working on one of his many secret projects. Lady Gaga also describes the Beatles legend a killer musician whom she shares the same vibes and also had lots of laugh together.
A second photo on her Instagram had the 28-year-old Lady Gaga very elated with herself while flashing the peace sign as her other arm is wrapped around the 72-year-old music legend who was sitting on his drum kit.
As expected, the fans of both Lady Gaga and Paul McCartney or all other music fans were thrilled with the photo and also of the prospect of the collaboration between two great music artists.
Thought it was prank
Lady Gaga also recalled how the collaboration project with Paul McCartney began last year. She got a call from Sir Paul and offered her to work with him. She thought it was a prank so she hung up the phone.
The two artists have been working on the collaboration for quite some time already and both managed to keep it under the radar both from the media and the public.
Like Lady Gaga, the Beatles legend is also fresh from collaboration work with Rihanna and Kanye West on the single FourFiveSeconds from Rihanna’s upcoming #R8 album. McCartney played the guitar and sings harmonies as Rihanna and Kanye sing the vocals.
He also partnered with Kanye West for the duet “Only One.”
The trio is scheduled to perform at the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles this coming February 8, with the song already a certified chart-topper around the world merely one week after its release.
