iOS 9 Spotted On iPhone 6, In Testing Stages!

Apple does a pretty good job at getting new software to users in a timely manner. Major updates come along with brand new versions of the iPhone or iPad and incremental updates are sent out throughout the year and on the “S” models. The next major update will be the iOS 9 software and it looks like Apple is in the news because it was spotted on an iPhone 6 presumably in testing stages. According to other reports, the iOS 8.2 was released to in beta 5 to developers.

Just like with any other Apple news, there is plenty of speculation as to when you are going to see the update, what is going to come along with it and if the update is going to go smooth when it finally happens. According to one online source, an Apple iPhone 6 was seen in some benchmark tests and it has the iOS 9 software installed on it. Just that news alone blew around the internet very quickly as it usually does.

There are many Apple fans and anytime the company is going to released anything new, the fans are there to share in the buzz and see what the company has to offer. If Apple is already testing the software and iOS 8.2 was just moved into beta 5, that is a good sign that major update is just around the corner for Apple users. Rumor sites have been talking about Apple releasing an iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus this year and they are supposed to come with double the RAM that last year’s model came with.

With that being said, could that be because of the new software update? Many times, when a company releases an update, it will not load onto older phones because the hardware cannot handle it. With more RAM in the “S” model of the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, that could indicate what is required for the update. Apple had a World Developers Conference coming up in June and that is when more information is likely to arrive.

iOS 9

Even though the rumors seem to have some thickness to them, Apple has not said one word about the iOS 9, the benchmark testing or even the “S” models of the popular smartphone. As usual, Apple tends to keep a tight lip on new developments like software, hardware and new devices. The iOS 9 software is supposed to bring plenty of enhancements and while benchmarks can be faked, the number of sources reporting and the date of the conference lead many to think the software release could come very soon.
