Without really saying it directly, Antonio Banderas says that Dakota Johnson, her former stepdaughter by Melanie Griffith, thinks that “Fifty Shades of Grey” is a great movie because Dakota is a great actress.
Banderas says that acting runs in the blood of Dakota because her father, Don Johnson was an actor and so is her mother. He, being a stepfather to Dakota for 20 years also contributed in molding her to really be a good actress, who knows what acting requires, reports Yahoo! News.
The actor, who was last seen in “Expendables 3” along with Hollywood’s biggest action stars, says that she is proud of Dakota of her accomplishments and he is happy because he knows too well what an acting career is all about.
Dakota is playing the role of Anastasia Steel in “Fifty Shades of Grey,” the movie adaptation of the erotic romance novel written by British author E.L. James.
Explicitly erotic scenes
Dakota will have explicitly erotic scenes in the film opposite Jamie Doman, who plays the character of Christian Grey, a multi-millionaire businessman who started a controlling love affair with a woman several years his junior.
Christian Grey gives her everything she wants including travel to various places and other plush destinations while basking in luxurious clothes and jewelleries, among other material stuff. In return Anastasia is bound, both literally and figuratively, by his sexual desires and activities that are even close to being unimaginable.
The steamy trailer of the movie released last December showed how daring and erotic the scenes of Dakota and Jamie have been in the film.
Star on the rise
Banderas still thinks of Dakota as her former stepdaughter and is happy that her star is starting to rise as an actress. But he has no plans of watching the “Fifty Shades of Grey” when it’s shown on theaters on February14. He says not immediately but maybe right after.
The 54-year-old actor says that she came into the life of Dakota when she was just a precocious four-year-old girl when he married her mother Melanie Griffith in 1996. In June of last year, after nearly 20 years of marriage, the couple announced their intention to divorce due to irreconcilable differences.
After filing the divorce papers, Melanie has apparently removed the tattoo of Antonio’s name on her upper arm.
For the Spanish actor however, he’s not going to do anything at all to remove or change anything about himself to forget about their 20-year relationship, citing that he will not be putting 20 years of his life in the hole.
He said that there have been beautiful things there when he and Melanie were still together that he is keeping it because that’s already part of his life which he can’t deny nor hide.
