Notwithstanding the big Hollywood star that she is or has become, Jennifer Lawrence still got star struck when she met Kim Kardashian in person for the first time.
The chance encounter was relayed to Entertainment Tonight by Kim Kardashian who described Jennifer Lawrence as a fan of her and her reality show “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.”
The reality star said that the “The Hunger Games” actress was quite thrilled to meet her in New York where they greeted each other like they already know each other.
And just when the elevator was about to close, Jennifer even screamed at Kim from across the lobby and told her that she loves her show. The two famous celebrities laughed so hard after that.
Fan of reality show
Jennifer is very vocal about her love for watching reality TV and that means being a fan of the “Keeping Up with the Kardashian” reality show.
Last year, she told Vanity Fair in an interview that if she is looking for a guy to be her boyfriend, she would take somebody who shall share her taste in television programs. She said then that she would rather have somebody that has the same passion for reality TV.
Jennifer gets so engrossed with reality TV show that she often asks if the actors on the series ever get tired of acting or being filmed. She also said that she would really love to be in a TV show like those.
She cited in particular the reality show “Dance Moms” that go well with her fondness of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.” She added that she also love “Shark Tanks.”
Pure love
The 24-year-old “The Hunger Games” star said that she is not just a fan of reality show, but she really loves it purely, calling it a silver lining in the past.
He favorite among the current crop of reality shows is no other than “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” reports the Mirror.
Back in 2012, she was watching the show and saw one of the Kardashian girls getting divorced and she called it a tragedy.
She opines that the networks are using reality shows for entertainment while people including her watch it. Jennifer says that books do hold up a terrible kind of mirror. She said that it would be the state of society if people become desensitized to trauma and each other’s pain.
It can be recalled that Jennifer Lawrence started her career on television in 2007 as a member of the cast of “The Bill Engvall Show” on TBS, where she played the role of Lauren Pearson.
Jennifer won a Young Artist Award and Outstanding Young Performer Award in a TV series for her role in “The Bill Engvall Show.” She was likewise nominated for Best Performance in a TV series (comedy or drama).
