Fox Reboots ‘Fantastic Four;’ Promises Never-Before-Seen Frills and Actions!

With Chris Evans now officially part of the Marvel cinematic universe as Steve Rogers, also known as Captain America, it would really look weird if Fox Studios would still include him as part of the “Fantastic Four.”

Chris Evans played the role of Johnny Storm also known as The Human Torch in the two movies about Marvel’s first family.

So instead of concerning itself with casting issues because maintaining the same cast of the previous two movies is surely expensive considering that Chris Evans is now among the top three highest paid Hollywood actors, Fox Studios decided to just do a remake of the “Fantastic Four.”

Channel 24 reports that what came out of the remake is said to be a darker “Fantastic Four” movie that promises never-before-seen frills and action scenes in previous movies of the same genre, says Simon Kinberg, the film’s scriptwriter.

New story and cast

“Fantastic Four” has been completely rebooted with a new story and an all-new cast to boot.

Due to hit theaters on August 7, 2015, the main stars of the rebooted “Fantastic Four” are Miles Teller as Richard Reeds also known as Mr. Fantastic; Kate Mara as Sue Storm also known as the Invisible Woman; Michael B. Jordan as Johnny Storm also known as The Human Torch; and Jamie Bell as Ben Grimm also known as The Thing.

A trailer of the movie has already been released and it really looks dark and grim but promises plenty of action alright.

Helmed by Director Josh Trank, the trailer of “Fantastic Four” also appeared to have been inspired by Christopher Nolan’s “Interstellar,” reports First Post.

Marvel’s answer to Justice League

“Fantastic Four” is actually Marvel’s answer to DC’s Justice League.

The origin of the “Fantastic Four” began when the four individuals embark on an outer space mission to conduct a scientific experiment. While in the process of teleportation, something became amiss and went haywire. For some reasons, each one of them gained super natural powers as a result.

Although they were all surprised with their super natural abilities, the four were eventually able to control their powers and used it to battle evil forces out to wreak havoc in the planet or destroy earth itself. From then on, they started calling themselves the “Fantastic Four.”

Much of the production of the film was done under the radar so not much has been said about it or hyped about it until the release of its official trailer a few days ago.

But there have been sporadic reports or rumors about trouble on the set during filming but those seemed to be just mere speculations. Latest report now indicate that Fox Studios have already given the nod for the sequel of the movie even before the first “Fantastic Four” movie hits the theaters.
