Sylvester Stallone Spotted Filming a Bread Advertisement: Reports

It’s not rare for celebrities to take part in promotional videos, and Sylvester Stallone seems to be enjoying the opportunity to take part in an ad for bread. The star has been recently spotted in Bolton, where over the weekend he became the main face of the new marketing campaign for Warburtons. While the ad is not out yet, some fans have spotted Stallone in the process of shooting it, and have been sharing what they’ve seen online – plus, there are reports allegedly coming from behind the scenes.

According to those reports, Sylvester Stallone will be featured in a scene that plays a homage to the famous scene in Rocky where his character was running up the steps during his training routine; Stallone will run up Bolton Town Hall steps, holding a loaf of bread in each hand, all the way up to the top of the stairs. In addition, other reports claim that Stallone has been running ahead of a cheering crowd, encouraging them and leading them on during his run up the stairs of Bolton Town Hall.

There have even been videos made by fans passing by the scene getting posted online, and they have understandably been getting a lot of attention and generating quite a bit of buzz around Stallone in the last few days. The marketing stunt seems to be working well before the video is even released officially, for what it’s worth – it’s always a smart move to hire a prominent celebrity when there is a clear plan on how to utilize their presence most adequately, and the guys behind the Warburtons ad seem to have the right idea.

Meanwhile, Stallone didn’t miss the opportunity to try out some of the local Puccinis in Swinton during his lunch break on Friday, at a restaurant that’s already famous for being liked by David Cameron, Alex Ferguson and several prominent boxers including Joe Fraser. According to people who were around Stallone when he was having his lunch, him and his party tried a little of everything on the menu, although they didn’t stay long and had to leave in a bit of a rush in the end.

Not before taking a picture with some people from the staff, of course – a move which everyone liked, unsurprisingly, and seems to have improved Stallone’s image a little bit. Not that he needs the boost anyway, as most people who had interacted with the star during his lunch at the restaurant had only good things to say about him, describing him as very pleasant and that he actually showed interest in people he was talking to, treating them in a very respectful manner and asking them question after question.
