Take it from Hailee Steinfeld when she disclosed that the second installment to the musical movie “Pitch Perfect” has loads of songs in its soundtrack.
Even the word ‘loads’ is an understatement as the 18-year-old actress who will be playing the role of Emily in “Pitch Perfect 2” said that the number of songs in the movie was so many that she can’t already remember them all, reports MTV.
“Pitch Perfect 2” will be hitting theaters on May 15, 2015.
The “Ten Thousand Saints” young actress even hinted that the upcoming movie had 52 songs in two minutes, which is obviously a jest. Still, it says a lot about how musical the sequel of the very successful movie shown in 2012 would be.
“Ten Thousand Saints” is currently being shown at the 2015 Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah.
Anticipation and excitement
Since the smashing success of “Pitch Perfect” in September of 2012, the movie has established a base of loyal and very enthusiastic fans that have all been expressing their excitement and eager anticipation for the movie’s sequel.
Having learned that filming for the sequel is through and it would be released in less than three months time, they have become more excited and eager than ever before.
They would like to get as much advanced information about “Pitch Perfect 2” in any possible manner they could get.
So when Hailee Steinfeld was chanced upon at the Sundance Film Festival, she was quizzed about the movie, particularly about the number of songs that the film would likely have.
Hailee was candid enough to say that she has no idea because there were so many songs in the first place that she can no longer remember any one of them specifically. She also said that she also finds it very surprising since they have completed filming of the movie less than a year ago but she can’t hardly remember anything.
It is most likely that the young actress, who was once nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her portrayal of Mattie Ross in the film “True Grit” back in 2010, is too busy with her acting schedule that the information already slips her memory.
Excited to see it too
Hailee said that, just like the millions of followers and fans of “Pitch Perfect,” she is also very excited and can’t wait to see “Pitch Perfect 2” in the theaters.
She added that she would like to see the movie like everyone else so that they could all talk about it or the film’s soundtrack after.
Haillee expressed appreciation and fell in love to the soundtrack of the upcoming erotic romance movie “Fifty Shades of Grey” particularly Ellie Goulding’s “Love Me Like You Do,” and The Weekend’s “Earned It.” She hopes to feel the same with the soundtrack of “Pitch Perfect 2.”
