When it comes to technology, especially mobile gadgets, there are few companies that can bring a new smartphone to the market and have it sell like hot cakes. Samsung is one that can bring the good stuff. When the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 arrived last year, smartphone owners were happy to upgrade to a device with a new, larger display, better battery life and all of the software features that Samsung packs into its phones. The phablet is very popular and was easily rated as one of the most impressive handsets of the year.
There will be a fifth version of the Samsung Galaxy Note, but with so many great features and top of the line hardware, would many upgrade from the 4 to the 5? According to at least one source online, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is going to be even better than the sixth installment to the “S” series from Samsung. Samsung develops great smartphones, but now that Apple has the iPhone 6 plus, the Samsung Galaxy Note is going to get a little more attention.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 came into the market last year as well, but the reviews were not all that great, putting more attention on the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, once again. The sales were not as good as expected for the Galaxy S5 either. That is leading some to believe that the 6th in the series will be that much better. Now that the S Series has fallen a bit, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has taken over the flagship status from Samsung.
The real question is whether or not those that have the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 should wait around to upgrade to the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 when it arrives. According to sources, the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is going to arrive during the third or fourth quarter of this year. The Mobile World Congress event is coming up in March this year and that is when more information about the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy S6 is expected to be released.
According to rumors, the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 could arrive with a touch screen display that is almost 6-inches in size and possibly even a 4K resolution. If the resolution sticks, it will be getting plenty of attention as the first mass market device with it. Coming along with that display, would be a larger battery. Reports are out stating that it could be in the 3220mAh range, which should power that phone all day long. The back side, 16MP camera is also getting a lot of praise for that device.
