TaiG Interview Talks about Apple iOS Jailbreak for 8.1.1 and 8.2, Future of Jailbreaking!

Apple have recently been boasting with the new security features of the latest 8.1.3 version of iOS, but the company may have been a bit too quick to enjoy their “victory” over jailbreakers, as it’s just become apparent that the latest versions of iOS may be easily vulnerable to people like TaiG who’re well-acquainted with the operating system.

However, there have been some negative reports about the whole issue of jailbreaking recently, with some publications warning people to be wary of the procedure, as it can damage their devices if done improperly, or when malicious software is used. This seemed to scare some users away from the idea of jailbreaking their devices, something which the hacker community did not take kindly to. Gizmodo were among the major publications to issue warning statements to their readers regarding the process of jailbreaking their devices.

A hacker who claims to be the main person behind TaiG has decided to speak out on the issue, stating that the group has absolutely no malicious intent towards their users, and they’re only doing jailbreaking because they are able to bypass Apple’s security, and believe that all users should be able to use their devices freely. Freedom is the group’s main motivation, according to their statement, so it’s unnatural to think that they would be targeting their users with malicious content.

The developer went on to reassure users that TaiG’s tools are completely safe, and that he strongly values the huge trust the community has in the group’s work. According to him, TaiG believe that their users are quite smart overall and it wouldn’t take long for something like this to be uncovered. In the end, the group would never want to lose the trust their users have in them, which is why they would never resort to developing malicious tools.

On the other hand, TaiG also responded to claims that Apple are going to tighten the security of iOS even further and make jailbreaking impossible in the future. According to the hacker, the group will continue putting the same amount of effort into their work as they always have, and will keep finding ways to go around the restrictions that Apple impose on their users. The situation is really a cat-and-mouse game, but one in which hackers seem to have the upper hand for the time being.

Jailbreak iOS 8

Because, as Apple continue putting effort into the security of iOS, hackers seem to find it relatively easy to go around the new restrictions, and to restore the operating system to an unlocked, freely usable state. How long will this continue? Only time will tell, but so far, prospects are looking good for jailbreak users.
