Despite existing political disagreements between the Iranian government and Majlis, MP Mohammad Sharei believes that President Hassan Rouhani enjoys full support of Majlis representatives.
Over the past few weeks, Iran’s Leader Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei has urged Iranian officials to support each other in the hope of resolving the existing economical and political problems in the country.
As the government is trying hard to recover the country’s economy from recession, many believe that the support from Majlis plays an important role in the future of the country.
Speaking with local newspapers, Mohammad Sharei said the Iranian Parliament fully supports President Rouhani and his plans for recovering the local economy.
“We all believe that Mr. Rouhani can take the necessary steps to recover the economy. I personally think that President Rouhani has extensive plans with regard to fixing the existing economical issues. Because of this, not only people but members of parliament also need to offer their support to the government,” Sharei said on Monday.
Mohammad Sharei also went on to talk about the importance of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s role in this regard. “In my humble opinion, he has a great experience in leading the country in various conditions. I believe we are better to follow his guidelines with regard to supporting the government. With the help of Majlis, the Rouhani administration will more likely be able to run its plans in the best way possible,”
“Unfortunately, the economic sanctions against the Islamic Republic of Iran have had negative impacts on our local economy. Unemployment and inflation are the two major problems that need to be resolved as soon as possible. At the same time, we have to continue nuclear talks with the world powers in the hope of lifting economic sanctions.” MP Mohammad Sharei concluded.
