It might seem like Ariana Grande is becoming quite the star these days and if you were thinking that, you would be right. She has been making headlines over the last 6 months at least and according to the latest one, she is going to be put on a stage that includes some other, very big acts. There is an awards show coming up soon and there were rumors that Madonna was going to be taking part in the show, along with some very recognizable faces.
One of those faces is quite new to the business and that is Ariana Grande. That is right, the 57th Annual Grammy Awards will be coming up one week after the Superbowl and it will include some very popular musical acts. Ariana Grande should feel very proud to be on the same stage as the others acts that include Madonna, Ed Sheeran, Eric Church and the very popular and exciting AC/DC. The official news came through Twitter this week, just a few days after it was rumored that Madonna was going to join the show this year.
Madonna was also playing the teasing game when she posted an image to Twitter saying she would be at the Grammy’s on the 8th of February. Even though she is a credible source, it would not be good information until it was confirmed by the Grammy’s. This will be the fifth time that Madonna has performed at the Grammy’s. Even though that is big news, the bigger news is the new sensation, Ariana Grande.
She is going to be performing and has actually been nominated for two awards, including best pop duo/group performance and best pop vocal album. Ariana Grande is clearly the rookie among those names and she is also likely to have one of the biggest followings on the show since she has been growing her following with each song and album that she puts out. For those of you that do not know, Ariana Grande has been performing since she was 13 years old, so she does have some experience.
However, it took a few years for her first record to take shape and in 2011 she had a hit on the soundtrack from Music from Victoirous. Shortly after that, Ariana Grande signed a record deal with Republic Records and released her first album in 2013 called “Yours Truly”. That album quickly went to the top of the US Billboard 200 and it has been a crazy ride for the 21 year old ever since. Now she can take “performing at the Grammy’s” off her bucket list.
