“Twilight” star Robert Pattinson is reportedly on the ‘marrying stage’ of his life and would like to propose soon to girlfriend FKA Twigs on Valentine’s Day and tie the knot after that.
According to a report of the Independent of Ireland, the British actor started dating the English singer-songwriter in the summer of 2014. The two have reportedly moved in together before the end of last year.
A friend of Pattinson revealed that the “Twilight” star has fallen deeply in love with FKA Twigs and wants to take their relationship to the next level. The same source disclosed that Rob has been shopping around lately for an engagement ring in preparation apparently to popping the ultimate question to FKA Twigs come Valentine’s Day.
Meet the parents
The source added that Rob is already at the stage of his life where he is ready and capable of being a family man.
In accordance with his objective, the 28-year-old actor recently took his girlfriend to meet his parents and the rest of his family, where FKA Twigs reportedly got the nod of approval.
In addition to his acting vocation, the source said that Rob will also be very supportive of FKA’s career in both the British and international music industry. The actor was also said to be willing to focus on doing independent movies when they are married and settled in the UK.
Pattinson is also open to the idea of allowing his acting career to take a backseat in light of the promising singing career of his would-be wife because he wants to be a stay-at-home dad especially during the stage when they are already ready to start a family.
FKA Twigs’ career is currently on a roll after recently appearing in Vogue magazine and also doing a topless shoot for V magazine.
Slow down the pace
Friends of the Robert Pattinson have been telling the actor to go slow down on his plans as he and his 26-year-old girlfriend or would-be wife have only been together for less than a year.
The actor has been advised to ease the pace since he is practically smothering her, almost to the point of strangling her with his love and affection. He was told to give the relationship more time and that he should keep an open mind about plunging himself into marriage in the next couple of months.
But it seems that these advices are falling on deaf ears as Rob is head over heels in love with FKA plus the fact they have already been seriously living together over the past couple of weeks. The actor feels that he has found the right girl for him, whom he plans to share the rest of his life with.
Something that his ‘Edward’ character in “Twilight” found in ‘Bella,’ only this time ‘Bella’ is not his ex-girlfriend Kristen Stewart, but his enamour FKA Twigs.
I hope that Rob does take into consideration that they have only known each other for
a few months. Love takes time there is no short cut.
