WWE 2K15 to Receive Content Pack with New Moves on January 13!

Fans of “WWE 2K15” who’ve been feeling bored with what the game has to offer lately should be happy to find out that a brand new DLC pack is headed to the title, and is scheduled for release on January 13. With it, players will get the opportunity to use various new moves on their opponents, adding further variety to the already quite diverse gameplay, and making the game more suitable for different playing styles.

Among the new moves, players are going to receive the Spinning Powerbomb, Backslide Driver, Spike Tombstone Piledriver and various others, and the developers have stated that the pack will include a very impressive selection of moves overall. It’s not known exactly how many moves the pack will feature, and many of the moves are still a secret as well – although this certainly hasn’t stopped fans from speculating on the topic, and there seem to be various suggestions for what should be included in the game.

Meanwhile, some of the game’s fans have been expressing disappointment over the fact that they had purchased the season pass but are not going to receive the new DLC. Traditionally, the definition of a season pass is a deal that allows players to obtain all of a game’s DLC as one package at a lower price. However, according to Marcus Stephenson, the season pass for “WWE 2K15” had a very specific scope, and it doesn’t include content packs like the one that’s about to be released next week.

This was made clear when the season pass was released, according to him, so players shouldn’t really have anything to be disappointed about. It’s not known if more DLC packs will be released outside of the season pass, although it’s not unlikely, as the game has been receiving a lot of support overall, and it will likely get even more content in the coming months.

“WWE 2K15” isn’t the first title to find itself facing such problems, as “Borderlands 2” also came out with DLC that wasn’t included in the season pass, a situation that was explained in a similar way by the game’s developers back then. Some critics have been pointing out that it might be time to redefine the way the industry looks at season passes, although this is a process that likely isn’t going to happen overnight and will take some time. It should also be noted that, in the case of “WWE 2K15” specifically, fans have been requesting some specific types of content to be added to the game for a while now, and this could have altered the development plans, resulting in new content that was not meant to be released separately from the season pass in the first place.
