From the looks of it, it seems like the Batman: Arkham franchise has something really in common with the Batman movies released by Christopher Nolan. They are both filled with a lot of spoilers. Rocksteady Games’ Batman: Arkham Knight is the final game in the franchise and will be set a year after the events that occurred in Arkham City. The plot is based on the evacuation of Gotham after the Scarecrow fills the city with bombs, which contain a more deadly strain of his ‘fear’ gas.
At Videogamer.com, people got hold of what seems to be an image from Amazon, which has now been removed. The said image destroys a major story element in the upcoming Batman: Arkham Knight. There is a statue that has been included with the special edition release of the much-anticipated title in Batman Arkham franchise. The 12-inch statue is a part of the limited edition bundle that is being released by Amazon. All of it, “not so subtly” suggests that Batman might be killed off by the developers in the Arkham Knight.
It features Batman standing over with a watchful eye on the city of Gotham. A message along with it says, “From a Grateful City in Memory of the Gotham Knight.” Quite soon, enough it was removed and replaced with another version that just says, “The Gotham Knight.” The particular version of this game is only available to Amazon.co.uk. Although the image has been smartly changed, you will still notice a description.
It considers the Batman memorial statue to be quite imposing and at the same time commemorates the Protector of Gotham. Now, as you might have expected, a lot of stories are coming out of the rumor mill. For example, VideoGamer suggests that Gamers will possibly get to play as the Arkham Knight in case Batman passes away. If our hero dies at the end of Batman: Arkham Knight, the Arkham Knight could turn out to be the possible replacement. Considering the background story that has been provided to him, it is a really strong possibility.
However, some critics suggest that Rocksteady could not develop the franchise for so long only to reveal that Batman dies right before the launch of their final game. The statue could also turn out to be simply a memorial structure rather than suggest that he dies in the events of Arkham Knight.
At the moment, the internet is abuzz with this possible spoiler. You will find forums and discussion boards getting filled up with potential rumors and possible spoiler ending scenarios. The Limited Edition of the upcoming Batman: Arkham Knight can now be pre-ordered from Amazon at 79.99 pounds.
Stay tuned for more updates on Batman: Arkham Knight!
