Supernatural Season 10 Episode 10 returns in January. The CW has released a teaser of the upcoming episode, and it’s called “The Hunter Games.” The episode deals with the Mark of Cain that is on Dean (Jensen Ackles) and what effects it has on the demon hunter.
The mid-season finale of Supernatural Season 10 showed Dean on a demonic trip where he ruthlessly kills Randy, a loan shark and his men inside the former’s house. Sam (Jared Padalecki), Castiel (Misha Collins) and Claire (Kathryn Love Newton) are witness to Dean’s harrowing behavior. Dean had already instructed Castiel to do whatever was required if he finds him going back into his demonic bouts.
Castiel becomes desperate to do something when the lore of the Men of Letters fails to remove the Mark of Cain. He comes up with another plan and strategy, but Sam is completely against it when he finds out about it. Sam says that it is one of the worst ideas that Castiel could ever come up with it. As the season progresses, we will see Sam and Castiel do everything possible to rescue Dean and stop the effect of the Mark of Cain.
Supernatural Season 10 will show the complex situation that Castiel falls in, with trying to fix his relationship with Claire and on the other trying to cure Dean and remove the Mark of Cain. Matters take a turn for the worst when Claire decides to revenge Randy’s killing by Dean.
The mid-season premiere will also focus on the Crowley-Rowena plot. In the upcoming episode, there is going to be a faceoff between Crowley (Mark Sheppard) and his mother Rowena (Ruth Connell), in Hell. Rowena has managed to free herself from the chains and will create havoc has the plot progresses. Ruth Connell, the Scottish actress who plays Rowena, has said that she is going to make things difficult for the King of Hell in the new episode.
Apart from the recurring star cast, the Season 10 of Supernatural is also going to see some of the old characters returning. There are speculations that Charlie Bradbury (Felicia Day) and Metatron (Curtis Armstrong) are expected to return. Felicia Day has said in an interview on the occasion of Supernatural’s 200th episode that Charlie will return from Oz, but she will change after the experience.
Supernatural Season 10 will return at 9pm slot on CW network on 20th January. The newly released trailer has already got fans excited. The fans of Dean Winchester are waiting for him to come back to his original self of the charming demon hunter.
