Less than two weeks ago, there were reports that Big Sean gifted Ariana Grande with a customized ring to express his love for her.
The news even drew speculations that it was an engagement ring that Big Sean has given to Ariana and that the lovebirds would soon be tying the knot. There were even rumors that the two were already secretly married.
Things, events, and rumors most especially, really fly fast in the celebrity world. Latest word on the couple is that Ariana and Big Sean are denying almost to the heavens above that they have split up.
Ariana is apparently responding to a report published in the Star recently that she has already dumped the 26-year-old rapper-boyfriend of hers because she reportedly caught him texting another woman, reports Yahoo! TV.
But the Daily Mail cited that based on the same Star report, Ariana found risqué images on her boyfriend’s phone last month. The “Love Me Harder” singer felt completely violated with the discovery and has since lost her trust on Big Sean.
The Star was said to have reported also that Ariana refuses to return the rapper’s calls. She did not check on him when his grandmother recently passed away because the two of them were already done.
Quick to deny
But a representative of Ariana immediately came out to quickly deny the rumors by saying that the reports have no basis and are absolutely false.
The rep also confirmed that Ariana and Big Sean are still together.
The last time that Ariana and Big Sean were seen together in public was during the Jingle Ball 2014 held at Florida on December 12, 2014. The couple even dished out a raunchy performance during the gig.
They have not been seen together in public since which would have set off the rumor mills in motion about their split.
While it may have been true that Big Sean gifted Ariana for Christmas a ring, the two of them did not spend Christmas together because Big Sean’s grandmother died on December 23. Ariana spent her Christmas Eve with her family. On New Year’s Day, more than a week later, the singer showed up via Twitter and thanked her fans for making her 2014 extra special.
As if on cue, Ariana posted on her Instagram, two days after the New Year, several photos of her and Big Sean during their recent ski trip in Tahoe. The photos were filled with PDAs and much love between the couple that practically quashed earlier speculations that the two of them have split up, observes E! Online.
The couple’s pictures were more than enough proof to show that Ariana and Big Sean are still very much together. Unless another report or rumor proves otherwise, the denial should stick for now.
