While Taylor Swift may have swept the music industry off its feet with the smashing success of her “1989” album, Katy is apparently planning to put one up on the “Blank Space” singer by “Roar” – ing her way into a superb performance come the halftime of Super Bowl 2015.
A source close to Katy Perry revealed that the “Fireworks” singer is seriously rehearsing her performance for the event and that she is sparing no sweat to make sure that the gig would be a complete party that would be remembered for a long, long time.
The source added that Katy wants to show the whole world, including Taylor Swift, who the biggest female act is in the world today and that no one can compete at her level.
Planning to diss Taylor Swift?
The insider also disclosed that Katy is also working on a visual or a lyrical jab against Taylor Swift. The “Dark Horse” singer shall reportedly be doing something on stage during her halftime performance at Super Bowl 2015 that is directed towards the “White Horse” singer.
If there is any grain of salt to the disclosure of the source, an epic performance at the Super Bowl 2015 halftime is what Katy Perry needs to deliver instead of putting a good thought and spending time on how she would put one up against Taylor Swift when she performs.
