You might want to stay away from the rumors regarding Once Upon a Time Season 4, as the makers have made it clear that the upcoming season packs in an extended range of twists and turns that the protagonists have to traverse through. The winter finale of the popular fairytale premieres on March 1st, 2015 and while happy endings are imminent, danger is invariably lurking nearby.
Creators Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz were recently interviewed by the Entertainment Weekly and were made to answer questions regarding the second half of season four. Since the introduction of Ursula – characterized by Merrin Dungey – and Cruella de Vil – played by Victoria Smurfit – the fans have been wondering how the two antagonists fit the script.
Even though the creators were tightlipped regarding this question, they revealed a lot of minor clichés regarding the plot. The creators mentioned that Archie should be worried about Pongo the Dalmatian, as Cruella is a part of the plot. While the female antagonists are yet to enter Storybrooke, Rumplestiltskin – characterized by Robert Carlyle – is trying his best to bring Maleficent – played by Kristin Bauer van Straten – and Ursula to town and wreck havoc.
Viewers who witnessed the winter finale will remember that the female antagonists got tired of losing to their male counterparts and wanted to make a difference for once. They planned on getting their hands on Camelot’s magical grove, which was under Rumplestiltskin’s safekeeping. The Queens of Darkness finally managed to achieve this feat – or so they thought – after kidnapping Belle – characterized by Emilie de Ravin.
Viewers witnessed Rumple’s marvelous plan at the end of the episode, where he outsmarted the villains, saved Bella and kept the magical grove for himself. When Once Upon a Time Season 4 returns, viewers will see Maleficent, Ursula and Cruella travel to the Enchanted Forest with the last curse. However, the three were not in Storybrooke this time. They were in New York City!
Pongo will not be the only one in trouble when Once Upon a Time Season 4 returns as the creators revealed that Hook is hungry for revenge on Rumple. Further spoilers are currently unavailable, as the creators chose their words very carefully. Season four will showcase flashbacks portraying Hook’s past, which is one of the major attractions for the upcoming season. Experts believe that Season four witnesses a major piece of action between Charming – characterized by Josh Dallas – and Snow – played by Ginnifer Goodwin – and the past returns to haunt them.
