Microsoft Surface Pro 4 Is Coming In 2 Sizes!

Microsoft is still trying to gain some much needed market share in a very competitive market with companies like Samsung, Apple and Google. With that being said, for the first time since the Microsoft Surface tablet has started to pick up some steam with the third version of the device. Now that the Surface Pro 3 is about one year old, it is time to start looking at the fourth generation device. Microsoft has not confirmed any of the rumors surrounding the Surface Pro 4, but that has not stopped the rumor sites from suggesting information about it.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is expected to hit the market with two sizes to choose from. The 8-inch version is the small model and there will be a 14-inch option as well. Up to this point, the largest Surface Pro was only 12-inches in size. So the largest model will be two inches bigger and will start to seem more like a laptop that you can remove the keyboard from. One of the biggest draws for the Surface Pro was the fact that it was able to run full applications and was very portable, like a tablet.

In addition to a larger size, it was also rumored that the Surface Pro 4 was going to come with a faster processor that was designed as an energy saving chip. The idea behind the Core M processors was to bring the faster processor that stays cool on its own allowing device makers to remove the need for cooling fans altogether. The fact that the Surface Pro 4 is being released later than normal, the odds are good they will include the new Core M processors.

There is also a chance that the Surface Pro 4 will come with Windows 10 pre-installed. Right now, Microsoft is working very hard to get the Windows 10 software ready for any device, let along being installed inside the new tablet hybrid. Windows Insiders are still testing the software, but according to sources, they are claiming it could be released with the Surface Pro 4. The new Surface device is not expected for at least 6 months and could be as late as the beginning of 2016.

That is a long time to wait for a product that has been revealed all over the internet for the last few months. Microsoft has been struggling to gain in the sale department when it comes to the series of tablets and one of the complaints by consumers is that the price is high. The Surface Pro 4 is expected to cost anywhere between $800 and $1400 when it arrives.
