‘WWE 2K17’ Latest Updates Adds Another Dimension to the Video Game to Make Gamers Happy!

The sixth and latest patch to the wrestling simulation video game “WWE 2K17” was released by game developer 2K Sports early this month and critics are saying that it added another dimension to the game and really made gamers happy.

Unlike the first five patches which were mostly cosmetic in nature, the sixth patch for “WWE 2K17”officially called as Patch 1.06, ushered major gameplay changes since the game was released late last year.

It is extensive and featured two important aspects including downloadable content fixes and tweaks on its gameplay.

2K Sports has been very generous in churning out extra content every month to “WWE 2K17” since it was released a few months ago.

Besides the mostly “B” rated legends that were released initially, the new moves that were added and the addition of Tye Dillinger and Austin Aries to “WWE 2K17” gave gamers something new to work on.

Setting the stage for the final DLC

The latest patch sets the stage for the release of the final DLC for “WWE 2K17,” the Hall of Fame Showcase, reports iDigital Times.

The showcase is a series of matches that feature inductees of the 2016 WWE Hall of Fame. Throwback matches and old school arenas bring a level of nostalgia to a game that attempts to stay as current as possible to the WWE product.

Also included in Patch 1.06 were fixes to past DLCs that were released over the past few months, Addressing syncing issues for all the packs and other issues that came with the DLC is something that 2K Sports had to fix. DLCs are a major part of the WWE 2K franchise and it will continue to be for years to come.

Both critics and gamers have been saying that the gameplay for “WWE 2K17” has been a pleasant surprise.

There have always been things every year that gamers can nitpick and tear apart about the gameplay of WWE 2K, but there hasn’t been much to talk about with regards to gameplay as the latest “WWE 2K17” is smooth and without many issues.

Fixing the little issues

2K Sports actually fixed the little issues with Patch 1.06 including tuning the damage values of moves and adjusting the reversals of other moves.

There were many stamina fixes that really made the game a little better. Many of the matches, no matter the type of match, tends to drag on at times. With the adjustment, matches could go shorter and cut a 12-minute match to an eight-minute match.

Some of the more prominent gameplay fixes of Patch 1.06 include the fixing of stability issue when performing a Dirty Pin while the referee is down in a match.

The issues with various corner comeback moves not being able to be performed as well as in situation wherein WWE Superstars couldn’t reposition an opponent back into the ring when dragging a standing opponent outside the ring, have been fixed.

Patch 1.06 also addressed the warping issue that occurs when performing apron grapples from outside the ring and it has also fixed an issue where WWE Superstars get stuck when grappling a Custom superstar performing an apron taunt.

There are still a good number of issues that have been fixed by Patch 1.06 which simply made the game a lot better even after the release of the fifth patch early last month.

In terms of online changes, Patch 1.06 actually improved online stability for six-man matches featuring all Custom Superstars in ‘WWE Live.’

It likewise fixed a hang issue that occurs when quickly selecting Custom Superstars in ‘WWE Live’ and also the disconnection issue that could occur when a friend attempted to join a session while the host was on a loading screen, details the International Business Times of India.
