We don’t know about the release date of Rick and Morty Season 3 but according to Mr. Poopy Butthole’s prediction of April 2017, it looks a lot more plausible. Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon, the co-creators have frequently spoken about the date delay of the premiere, but they were mostly released to quash unwanted rumors.
For now, all that can be said is that it will release when it’s supposed to release. Sanchez was captured and imprisoned at the end of Season 2 of Rick and Morty. Earth finally became a member of the Galactic Foundation, and it transformed from a backwater into a new tourist hotspot. As a result, this gave rise to a new wave of alien visitors to Earth but further enmeshed us in the paternalistic and bizarre system.
It was a sickening combination of debtor’s prison and surveillance state, and universal healthcare came with mandated jobs program. The site serves as the major enrollment hub for the Galactic Federations Rewards Card and promises supplementary perks on top of the mandatory monitoring and resource rationing of the Federation, similar to Familial Liquidation and Teeth Upgrades.
However, someone seems to have been messing with the code. Attempts to sign up or login leads to a hacked like feed filled with news items which are curated by a pro-Rick Gromflomite using the screen name of FR33RICK5455.
The feed further includes surveillance video of similar Rick and Morty characters, cat articles along with BuzzFeed-type videos for aliens who are fascinated by the wildlife on Earth. However, is the viral stuff all marketing fun or are there some major insights into Season 3 of Rick and Morty.
In the least, the site shows how radically different Earth will be in the new episodes of Season 3. It is not the kind of place where people go to retreat from science fiction hijinks and aliens. At the moment, Aliens are on Earth. However, the newest information is offered by a single article. It is about Rick Sanchez and a key part of his background: The Battle of Blood Ridge.
In the season 2 finale, named The Wedding Squanchers, the battle featured the greatest stand by Rick and his allies against the Gromflomite army of the Galactic Federation. Since that fateful day, Squanchy and Bird Person have been fugitives in hiding and they were no longer fighters on the opposite side of the war. In fact, they were terrorists wanted by the state.
At the moment, we finally have some insight regarding what went down. The Battle of Blood Ridge took place 27 glaagnars ago on the third moon of Glagflap. A Glaagnar is equivalent to one Earth year.
The revolt which had preceded this battle, comprised of some species but the most hated by the Galactic Federation was Rick, due to his sadistic behavior and total disregard for the protocol that was outlined in the Blobbado Accords. According to the witness accounts, it seemed to involve wounded and teabagging is dying Gromflomites.
One witness described it as rubbing his ‘human lower danglers’ in the face of dying soldiers. The release date of Rick and Morty Season 3 will be revealed when Adult Swim reveals it. Anything else can be considered to be idle chatter till the actual release date is revealed. Dan Harmon recently spoke at the Sundance Film Festival and remarked on both the release date struggles and delay they have gone through during the writing process.
