The official release date of Uncharted 4 is yet to be declared for the PS4 platform. All we know is that the game will release in 2015. We are hoping that we do not have to wait till next Christmas in order to play this title.
We finally saw the Uncharted 4 game trailer on the PlayStation Experience event, and a lot of fans were rather underwhelmed by what they saw. First and foremost, the fans were unhappy with the game not looking as awesome as it did on E3. Naughty Dog has been following this trend recently and, needless to say; gamers are not at all happy with it.
However, we need to keep in mind that a cinematic trailer was shown in E3, and it was night-time with Drake totally soaked. As a result, we will get to see a lot more sheen than we did earlier, on the characters. The gameplay doesn’t appear to be too different from the previous titles, and the chosen gameplay location does not offer us with a fresh landscape as seen in Uncharted 2 and 3.
What will Naughty Dog incorporate from The Last of Us into the upcoming Uncharted 4? The Last of Us is already available for the next-generation console of the PS4. Presently, it’s just waiting for its older brother to join it on the PlayStation 4. The two titles are extremely different from each other.
Uncharted has everything that gamers can demand from a Blockbuster film that has been converted into a gaming title. We already know that The Last of Us is an artistic, personal and a darker game. Will transferring characters from such a title work?
Fans love the lighthearted nature of Uncharted 4. Therefore, gamers may not favor darkness of The Last of Us bring introduced in this famous PlayStation franchise. We love to explore the past of Nathan Drake in this popular series, but getting into a dark character study is not something gamers are sure about. It could majorly hamper the conclusion of the Uncharted series.
Wedbush Securities Analyst Michael Pachter returned to Game Trailer and talked about the sales potential of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. He talked about the strategies used by Naughty Dog, revenue prediction of this upcoming title and much more.
According to him, it won’t be the best selling game of all time thanks to it being a PlayStation specific title. Being unavailable for other platforms means a lot of Xbox gamers will not be able to purchase a copy. However, he concluded declaring that Uncharted 4 will still be an amazing game, and Naughty Dog surely has a lot planned for it.
