Inquisitr has reported that Angelina Jolie isn’t really dropping out of the upcoming new Tomb Raider reboot. There was a fabricated story from OK! and that seems to have given rise to quite a bit of confusion. Jolie starred in the original film of 2001, followed by another in 2003 but the latest reports suggest that Alicia Vikander will be taking over her role for the upcoming installment.
A certain source told OK! Magazine that Jolie has disapproved of this choice, merely hours after Vikander was cast in last spring. OK! Further added that the insider reported Jolie telling the studio that she will be rejecting the cameo plan so that it seems like she is just looking out for the franchise but in reality, she is pretty jealous about Alicia’s latest success.
Gossip Cop, however, claimed that the rumor has no credibility whatsoever. This is, however, not the first fabricated story about Jolie that Gossip Cop needed to debunk. According to the site, the cover story of Star stated that Jolie and Hudson were having a showdown at the Golden Globes. According to the tabloid, there has been growing tension between them ever since Jolie found out that her husband, Brad Pitt, is currently romancing Kate Hudson.
There is a chance that the real drama won’t be taking place onstage. Reports suggest that Jolie is out of her mind with jealousy and it wouldn’t be a surprise if she seeks out Hudson and has a quarrel with her behind the scenes.
However, Kate won’t be giving up either, and she could happily confront Angelina as well. Before it had a chance of going viral, Gossip Cop readily busted it.
According to Gossip Cop, Jolie and Hudson do not have any showdown at the Golden Globes in spite of a fake tabloid cover story. Shari Weiss said that Gossip Cop could bust the whole report. They said that Star is known for fabricating reports in the past.
There was the one suggesting that Jolie and Aniston will have an alleged showdown but it never happened. However, there is one story which turned out to be true. Jolie responded to Brad’s requests that all their divorce documents should be sealed. Jolie agreed to Pitt’s requests to have the custody sealed for all their divorce documents.
The 41-year-old Jolie said that she disputes his claims regarding how she freely publicized all sorts of sensitive information. She said that he made such accusations because he is terrified that the public will come to know the truth. A source who is close to the situation said that it was nice of Jolie to support the sealing of the documents after a request from Pitt.
However, after FBI and child services got involved and cleared Pitt of everything, the source also believes that Angelina’s brand of attack doesn’t make much of sense either.
In Angelina Jolie’s PR Team, they said that Pitt might have cleared all the investigations regarding how he was abusive towards Maddox but at the same time, his actions have hurt the children’s feelings in the long run. It is expected that somebody from Pitt’s PR Team will be issuing a statement soon enough. There is hope that Angelina and Brad can be civil with each other for the sake of their children.
Meanwhile, regarding the earlier rumors involving Angelina and Alicia, the report from Star further claimed that Alicia said that she couldn’t care less about what Angelina thinks. She believes that Angelina’s movies were really good, but they are badly in need of a refresh.
