Singer John Legend marked his 38th birthday on December 29 and the best greeting came no less from his wife, model Chrissy Teigen, along with their eight-month-old baby daughter Luna Simone, through an adorable Instagram photo.
Chrissy Teigen flashed her long legs while lying on a sun lounger with baby Luna Simone on top of her and looking quizzically at the camera. They were apparently enjoying a holiday in Florida.
The 31-year-old model captioned the cute Instagram post with ‘Happy Birthday, Beautiful Papa.’ As expected, it made the day of John Legend after getting the sweetest birthday message from his family, reports The Sun of UK.
John Legend also took to Instagram to share his birthday love by posting two selfies with his little one, and also a view from his room, showing off an infinity pool that overlooks the ocean. He captioned his post by thanking everyone for all the birthday wishes.
He captioned the other photo by expressing his love to everyone and that he was celebrating his birthday with wife Chrissy and daughter Lu, which made him feel very grateful.
Luna’s first Christmas
Apart from celebrating his birthday for the first time with their new baby, John and Chrissy also marked their family’s first Christmas with Luna.
They also shared photos and videos of Luna opening gifts and wearing a cute Santa onesie.
As early as November, Chrissy was already expressing her excitement to their baby’s first Christmas.
In an interview back then, she said that she can hardly wait for Luna to see their big Christmas tree up because they never really had a proper holiday season in their home before. She explained that they have always been on the move and they also tend to go on vacation during the holidays.
With Luna already around, they have decided to spend their Christmas at home and Chrissy was saying that their tot would surely be floored in amazement once she sees the Christmas tidings already up inside their house.
Chrissy also said that Luna is so very much into nature that she actually wonders how the baby is her daughter.
The model said that her daughter enjoys trees and leaves and the beach and she keeps asking who Luna is. But once Luna sees a tree indoors, she would likely want to keep in there the entire year. Chrissy predicted that Luna would be very into their Christmas tree.
True enough, Luna was really fascinated with their Christmas tree inside their house and seems not to get over it looking at it every single day since it was put up this month.
Wearing a Saint Nick onesie
Chrissy and John also posted adorable pictures of Luna celebrating her first Christmas on their respective Instagram accounts, including one where the tot was wearing a cute Saint Nick onesie, complete with plush red and white hat.
John also shared a family portrait on Instagram on December 25 and captioning it ‘Merry Christmas.’
Luna was also seen receiving some amazing gifts including the hottest toy of the season, which is no other than a Hatchimal. She also met Santa during the Holiday season with her mom, details People.
Chrissy also shared video clips of Luna where the tot could not seem to contain her laughter while sitting on her mother’s lap.
The gorgeous mother spurred Luna on while playfully making faces at her daughter and saying ‘Don’t do it! Don’t do it!’
The singer, on the other hand, could be heard in the background of the video clips, laughing along with his daughter and asking what was it that she was laughing about.
