Hanna Marin has spoken. Ashley Benson’s latest interview with The Huffington Post has her spilling some beans on what to expect on the final 10 episodes of “Pretty Little Liars.”
Talking to the media outlet, the 26-year-old actress confirmed that Uber A will finally be unmasked during the two-hour series finale.
Uber A, now known as A.D., was revealed to be the ultimate mastermind on tormenting the girls since Ali was presumed to be dead.
The faceless villain employed a bunch of people in Rosewood, known as the A Team, to fulfill his/her ultimate mission to destroy the girls.
Benson herself has known Rosewood’s biggest mystery for about six months now. She adds that everyone kind of knew who ‘A’ was before they shot the finale.
Ashley says that everyone was like figuring out the mystery. As for her, she’s very impatient and loves to know everything so she had to figure it out.
The “Spring Breakers” star added that when she found out how the show would end, she was shocked, saying that what the fans are about to see are unthinkable.
Benson claims that a certain shocker came out of nowhere and yet it puts the puzzle in all the right places. Story-wise, Ashley says every character’s story has been given a great wrap.
While it was expected that Uber A’s reveal was set to be made during the series finale, some fans were hoping that Season 7B will open with the highly anticipated revelation.
Benson also said that since the show has wrapped up filming, she now has moved to New York from Los Angeles. She says that she and the rest of her co-stars still keep in touch.
The series wrapped up filming in October where the cast and crew celebrated the show through a Halloween party.
The Freeform hit will return for the second half of its seventh and final season on April 18 after an eighth-month hiatus, the show’s longest break during its run.
The Season 7B premiere will pick up right where Season 7A finale left off. In the 10th episode, the Liars including Caleb work together to find Hanna, who was revealed to have abducted Noel Kahn in her attempt to prove he is Uber A.
Alison also reveals herself to be pregnant with Archer’s child. Spencer learns that Toby and Yvonne are planning to leave Rosewood to start a family, but they encounter an accident on their way, leaving their fates unknown.
Noel escapes Hanna’s abduction and attacks the girls inside an abandoned school. He accidentally trips on his ax and kills himself via decapitation.
Jenna surprisingly comes for the girls as well threatening to shoot them. Jenna shoots Spencer but Mary Drake knocks her out and reveals that she is Spencer’s biological mother.
Freeform has already released the synopsis for the Season 7B premiere and it suggests that the girls will be searching for Jenna to have her confess to the Rosewood P.D. of her latest attempt at working with ‘A.D.’ to accuse the girls of being Charlotte’s killer.
Alison also confronts a possible puppeteer working with A.D., while the girls also find out that Toby was also in an accident.
The Season 7B premiere will coincide with Freeform’s new show, and also a product of “Pretty Little Liars” showrunner Marlene King, “Famous in Love” starring Bella Thorne.
King confirmed that the series finale will be a two-hour event followed by a one-hour special tell-all with her and the five leads.
The final 10 episodes of the season are expected to unveil the show’s mysteries that has been built up since the first season.
Also, it is expected to uncover the truth about Spencer’s identity particularly on how she ended up with the Hastings and who is her real father.
