HTC has a new smartphone coming to the One series lineup in a few months. The HTC One M9 is going to hit the market in the early part of next year and because of that, the HTC One M8 price is being reduced by many retailers. The HTC One M8 was one the market for about one year and it brought with it some of the best hardware you could find in a smartphone. The HTC One M9 is gearing up to show mobile consumers the exact same thing.
HTC has not announced the brand new version of the HTC One, but it is expected by many to arrive. Because the older M8 model got such a big price cut recently, the writing is on the wall regarding the announcement for the One M9 model. Right not, Best Buy is offering the M8 model for just $29, which is a huge discount of $170. There are not that many opportunities when it comes to getting one of the best smartphones on the planet at that price.
Spring joined the discount party as well, by offering the same price for the HTC One M8 4G LTE model for just $29. Right now, the HTC One M8 is priced at $749 for the smartphone without any contract at all. That is often called the “retail” price of the smartphone, which most consumers rarely pay for since they get tied into a 2-year contract that lowers the price. The regular price for the 32GB model with a two year contract on the Sprint network is around $230.
AT&T has the 32GB HTC One M8 at a discounted rate as well, selling the barely old smartphone for just $99. According to reports, the Verizon Wireless network is offering the phone at the same price that AT&T is. On those two networks, the price includes silver, gold, gray, red and black as color options when you go to checkout. Online reports indicate that because the price is being cut so drastically, HTC is getting ready to release the M9 version of the HTC One.
With that being said, mobile users all over the world have been buzzing about the specs that this new model is reportedly going to boast. The HTC One M9 is expected to arrive with an oct-core processor, 3GB of RAM, 20MP camera on the backside with a 4MP option in the front and a 5-inch all touch screen display. The octa-core processor is from Qualcomm and is the Snapdragon 810, which is expected to have 4cores be clocked at 2.5Ghz and the other 4 cores clocked at 1.5Ghz.
