Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End Latest Patch Adds Improvements to the Game’s Multiplayer Mode Only

Game developer Naughty Dog has released Patch 1.17 for the open world third-person shooter video game “Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End” on November 15 but unlike the previous update, the current patch brought improvements to the game’s multiplayer mode only.

On November 3, Naughty Dog also rolled out a special support patch for the PlayStation 4 Pro that has made the game look pretty on the latest variant of the PlayStation 4. It was called as Patch 1.15, reports Attack of the Fanboy.

Patch 1.16, on the other hand, was released by Naughty Dog on November 9 that included changes in the multiplayer mode both for Ranked and Balance.

It also came with other fixes for improper drops, Audio Options Menu crash, the white flash when transitioning from Multiplayer to the Main Menu, and the HDR setting not defaulting automatically when switching outputs, details the PlayStation Lifestyle.

The improvements on the multiplayer mode brought forth by Patch 1.17 on “Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End” had already been posted on the game’s official website.

These include the fixing of the profile issue causing users to lose their Trials & Ranked TDM progression, fixing a Leaderboard issue where Classic Mode statistics counted to the regular TDM Leaderboards fixing an issue with being able to hear player’s microphones before a Ranked TDM match, and fixing an issue where the HDR could cause certain menu screens to become unresponsive.

A new lease of life

“Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End,” just like many other PS4 exclusive games, has benefitted from the recent release of the PS4 Pro, whose features included its support for 4K TV, which made the game really look great.

Many gamers and critics actually consider it as a new lease of life on “Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End” which was officially released to the PlayStation 4 in May this year.

It has been six months since “Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End” rolled out exclusively to the PlayStation 4, chalking up another major success for the franchise.

The video game’s success is to be highlighted once again by a trio of action-packed new PlayStation 4 bundles that would be hitting the shelves this month.

Each of the three hardware bundles comes with three PS4’s hottest exclusives. Each bundle comes packed with a 1TB PlayStation 4 and “Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End,” the two other games in each bundle are variables.

The first bundle has another Naughty Dog game other than “Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End,” and it is no other than “The Last of Us: Remastered.” The third game is the racing title “Driveclub.”

The second bundle includes “Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End,” “Driveclub,” and “Ratchet & Clank.” The third bundle has “Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End,” “Bloodborne Game of the Year Edition,” and “No Man’s Sky.”

Sony also announced that the availability of the bundles and their respective pricing will vary by the country so it has advised interested gamers to check with their local retailers for information.

A little over six months since the release of “Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End” on the PlayStation 4, game developer Naughty Dog has announced in September the second DLC pack to the game officially called as “Bounty Hunters.”

“Bounty Hunters” DLC actually added new weapons, cosmetics, and a new multiplayer mode on “Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End” which is officially called as the Bounty Hunter.

The DLC also includes the addition of cinema mode to the multiplayer version of “Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End” which enables players to pause the action, move the camera, and take pictures.
