The new season of “Married to Medicine” is coming in full force, and it looks like the showrunners have prepared a particularly special installment for their fans this time. Some peculiar developments have been happening on the screen, and even though there seems to be a large number of people who don’t trust the future of the show, it’s managed to retain a loyal fan base.
Some of the relationships between people on the screen are going to be rearranged in the new season, and not in a good way. This should hardly surprise anyone, given the dramatic nature of the production as a whole, and reports indicate that Dr. Kimes and Lisa are going to be particularly affected by the situation.
Lisa has been surrounded by drama from the very beginning of her involvement with the show, so that’s also a factor that seems to make this situation rather predictable for some fans. There has been some criticism towards her from the others as well, and it looks like she will be under a lot of pressure in the current fourth season.
According to Toya, for example, part of the problem with Lisa is that she isn’t always reliable, and often lets people down despite them doing their best to support her. It looks like others share that sentiment as well, so the group might eventually start expressing a much more focused, sharper criticism towards Lisa.
Meanwhile, Toya herself has been involved in a much more serious issue, one that involves her owing a significant debt to the IRS. Toya stated that the whole situation was the result of her accountant failing at his duties, but that’s not very likely to pull her out of the messy situation she’s gotten herself into.
In an interview with the press, Toya admitted that she and her partner should have been more diligent in going over the documents they’ve received from their accountant, but they are still understandably upset by what has happened.
This will probably be a major part of the season, judging by the way it’s being discussed by critics, and hopefully the situation will somehow be resolved in Toya’s favor. The sum is nothing to laugh about – over $150,000 – so it will likely be a messy ordeal from start to finish.
As for Lisa herself, she’s apparently considering having children, something which has caused a lot of controversy in discussions between fans, as well as from the side of critics. Not many people seem on the same page with her about this idea, and this has actually drawn a bit of negative attention towards the show itself.
All in all though, despite the various problems that are coming up in this season, it’s still going to be an upbeat one, according to previews and talks with people involved in it. It actually looks like many are excited to be taking part in the production right now, and this season could be the show’s strongest yet.
“Married to Medicine” could definitely use a strong season like that, as the show has been suffering a bit in the viewership department, despite having a fresh premise.
The numbers have not been very inspiring as a whole, but this could all change with the new fourth season. If it doesn’t prove successful though, this could easily be the end of the production. Some have already been predicting this before season 4 was officially confirmed, but that didn’t turn out to be true.
