Kendall Jenner cannot understand that upset that was caused while shooting for Vogue España. She posed as a ballerina for the magazine last month, Abby Lee Miller and various dance professionals slammed the publication for using Jenner as the model to fill the spot designated for a prima ballerina.
It has been a month since the release of those photos and videos, and Kendall decided to respond with a sure backlash. According to her, she was unaware of the fact that she would be playing the role of a ballerina till she was getting into her makeup and hairdo. She didn’t practice beforehand and confessed that she had never done ballet.
She simply showed up to do her job. She wrote all of it on her paid blog, with the title, ‘About The Ballerina Photo Shoot.’People magazine reported that Kendall never wanted to offend anyone with her shoot and is very confused with the hate comments she has been receiving. She is confused about how people can get so upset where there are a lot more important things to focus on.
She declared that it would never stop her from working hard and being herself. Abby has been famous for Lifetime’s Dance Moms, and she was the first to speak about Kendall’s pictures. She is clearly annoyed after seeing the lead from “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” pose on a barre and dance around while wearing a tutu.
Abby wrote on Instagram that it was impossible for her to be a fan of the shoot. According to her, there are many amazing dancers in the world and Kendall Jenner is certainly not one of them. She also talked about Kendall’s ‘incorrect technique.’
She further shamed Kendall’s mom, Kris Jenner for not making sure that her daughters showed up for dance lessons. After her shoot, Kendall did receive a lot of negative comments, but not all the dancers were against her.
Allison DeBona, the ballerina, wrote in a Facebook post that she wants her profession to be represented in a proper manner and that Kendall was simply doing what she was told to do. DeBona realized the fact that it was just another job for Kendall Jenner.
DeBona also posted last month that there doesn’t seem to be a perfect condition for the ballet world. While talking about Kendall Jenner and the Vogue shoot, she said that the former is a beautiful young girl who just did her job. She also said, “…Not sure of the reason behind it except maybe all girls dream of being a ballerina on stage and she’s in her room playing as one?”
In other news, Maddie Ziegler and Chloe Lukasiak are enjoying their successful careers after their departure from Dance Moms. However, their fans are still arguing about who is the better among the two.
