Google Nexus 7 Will Run On Latest Andromeda OS, It Is Expected To Launch Before the End Of 2016!

Reports indicate that Google Nexus 7 is gearing up for its release during the Holiday season. Google’s new device will run on the Andromeda OS to provide faster performance and features that have never been built before.

If the device turns out to be great, it could turn out to be a tough competitor for the Apple iPad Pro. Fans were greatly anticipating the release of this device during the October 4 event, but over time, Google became quite tight-lipped about it.

However, PC Advisor reported that Google is currently working on a new tablet in collaboration with HTC, another renowned tech giant. Besides this report, there are others mentioning that the new device from Google could be called Pixel instead of Nexus, considering the new line of Pixel phones from Google.

From the looks of it, Google has probably killed the Nexus branding and will continue with the Pixel moniker from now. There is no reason for Google to continue with the Nexus name at the moment. However, according to another speculation, the Nexus lineup will feature Nexus 7 as the last device with the name.

All of its successors will come with the Pixel branding. The name hasn’t been confirmed yet, but some features and specs of the device have been subject to various leaks on the internet. Android Police reports that the Google Nexus 7 tablet will run on the Andromeda OS.

Apparently, this new OS contains some interesting features of Chrome. It makes it the best tablet of 2016, easily surpassing the range of devices from Apple iPad Pro. Other reports suggest that Google Nexus 7 will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 along with Adreno 530 GPU, 64GB of internal storage capacity and 4GB of RAM.

The new device will also feature a USB Type-C port along with a 5100mAh battery pack. The new device is presently being shaped under the guidance of HTC. Reports suggest that the new device will hit the market before Christmas.

The tablet is being considered to be the ideal Christmas gift for loved ones during the holiday season. Sadly, prices are yet to be declared. The device will be launched before 2016 ends
