It has been ten years since High School Musical was first seen on the Disney Channel but from the looks of it, the cast is still quite close. On Tuesday, Zac Efron turned 29, and his co-star Ashley Tisdale celebrated it by sharing a cute photo with the two together.
The pic featured Efron giving her a piggyback ride and Ashley wrote “Happy birthday buddy! @ZacEfron you will always be the Troy to my Sharpay.” At the same time, Monique Coleman uploaded a cute photo on Instagram, depicting a throwback of her and Efron on his special day.
She wished him Happy Birthday and wrote how she was always proud of him and rooted for him all the time. She was also grateful for eternity, for all the amazing memories. She also hoped that her last 20 was the best yet. The boys of High School Musical are yet to wish him Happy Birthday.
However, Zac clearly made it clear earlier this month that he is still in touch with Lucas Grabeel (Ryan)and Corbin Bleu (Chad). The three of them were reunited in Holiday Inn. Efron tweeted selfies of the Trio in Black and White, with the caption #Theboysareback. Back in May, fans were delighted when Efron tweeted a throwback pic, featuring Bleu, Tisdale and Vanessa Hudgens, his ex-girlfriend.
The caption said that he was very grating to come across the picture. He mentioned “With the o.g. Crew during one of the most cherished and exciting times of my life. Love you guys forever.” Tisdale also told ET that they still love each other a lot and also love hanging out together. They still have a wonderful connection.
