Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro Is Out in China, Company’s Fans Hopeful for a Recovery!

Samsung have just released their newest Galaxy C9 Pro in China, after some leaks about the device made their way to the public. Many people have been waiting for this device for a while now, and even though the company has suffered from some bad publicity lately, it’s obvious that they still have many fans and a strong chance to see more success on the market in the future.

The phone arrives with an attractive design which retains most of the characteristic features of Samsung’s devices. It actually looks like Samsung have improved their design a bit, as the device looks slightly more stylish than their most recent offers. However, that’s of course mostly subjective, and others may not find a huge difference with the main Galaxy line.

One of the more attractive features of the phone is that it comes with 6 GB of RAM, a first for the company. Of course, avid Android fans will probably be quick to point out that this is far from the first device on the Android market as a whole to feature such a RAM size, but it’s still a good step forward for Samsung themselves.

Other than that, the specifications include a 16-megapixel camera on the back, 64 GB of storage memory, and a nice Full-HD resolution on the screen, making it a well-rounded multimedia device that should fit the needs of even the most demanding Android users.

Those who like to play heavy games on their phones or run a lot of multitasking will find the specifications of the device more than adequate for their everyday use, while its price tag should make it a good choice for the average user too. According to reports, the phone costs a little more than $450, although it’s currently limited to the Chinese market and it’s not clear if Samsung are planning to release it elsewhere in the world.

The company is known for sometimes having an unusual release schedule for their smartphones, and they seem to favor the Chinese market for some of their releases. If there is enough interest in the phone outside of China though, it makes sense that Samsung would make it available internationally sooner or later too.

Actually, it would probably make even more sense now than ever, as the company is in a difficult situation with regards to their reputation, and they could definitely use a boost in this regard. Keeping the smartphone restricted to the Chinese market may have been their original intention, but if it turns out to be a good release that enjoys a lot of attention, it could be a smart move to bring it to other countries too.

Many people’s trust in smartphones made by Samsung has been shaken severely, and that would work wonders to rebuild it at least partially. Of course, we expect that it will take a lot of time before Samsung are able to enjoy the same popularity on the market as they did some months ago, but it’s also going to take hard work, and some properly-timed releases.

Samsung have been quiet on the issue so far, and haven’t given any hints that they might be looking to make the device available outside of China. Of course, this doesn’t have to mean anything – the company is known for being quite secretive about their work and future plans, so they could actually be considering this behind the scenes.
