Recent reports about “Peaky Blinders” revealed that the next season of the show will likely arrive with a slight delay, although this doesn’t seem to have upset most fans of the show. Previous seasons were developing quite well, and it’s reasonable to assume that many followers wouldn’t mind waiting some extra time for the new episodes, as long as the producers manage to maintain their original quality of work.
Shooting for season 4 hasn’t actually even started yet, and is scheduled to commence around the beginning of spring 2017. That gives the producers plenty of time to come up with some interesting changes to the plot and to prepare everything they need for the new season, although the long delay could also potentially indicate some issues behind the scenes.
Hopefully that’s not the situation though, and we haven’t heard any actual reports of the production running in trouble. People involved with the show actually seem very positive in their expectations for the future, and that’s always a good sign for a major production like this.
Another interesting detail we’ve seen in comments from the showrunners revealed that they are well aware of the main source of their success – the solid writing in the production. It’s true that many fans of “Peaky Blinders” have been following the show exactly for this reason, and as we said above, this has given the producers some room for delaying the new season without any negative repercussions.
A lot is coming up in season 4 too, judging by the various reports we’ve seen over the months. Tommy’s love life will go through some turbulent times yet again, and we’re curious to see if his next adventure will manage to last a bit longer than the last one.
It doesn’t seem like many fans of the show were that attached to Tatiana in the first place though, so the producers can probably move forward without any hesitation. However, we might see Tommy going through some slightly more challenging situations this time if we’re interpreting some of the previews for the new season correctly, and there have even been implications that the character could face a grim fate.
While this would certainly be a disappointing development for many fans, it doesn’t look like most will actually be surprised. Tommy’s character kind of predisposes to seeing him as someone who might be gone the next minute, and it’s possible that the producers have been building him up towards this from the very beginning.
Some fans even claim to see hidden signs all throughout the last season indicating that something bad is coming up, but it’s easy to see things that don’t exist when one is looking for them. It’s probably best to follow the official stream of information instead of speculating in this way, as this could lead to a lot of disappointment once the season arrives and we see how it actually plays out.
On the other hand, there have been some rumors in the opposite tone, implying a very happy development in season 4.
More specifically, some fans seem convinced that we could see Grace coming back in the new season, contrary to all logic. The writers would probably have to stretch their imagination a bit if they want to pull this off, but considering how good the writing has been so far, they will probably find a way to make the story sound good. Of course, this assumes that Grace would even come back in the new season at all, as this is just a rumor right now.
