The Defender mode is similar to the Oddball mode seen in Halo. The mode involves two teams fighting over the possession of a ball and the longer they can keep it, the more scores they can amass for their team.

Defender’s position keeps changing in the slot. Gun Game and Kill Confirmed mode often replace the Defender mode.

Call of Duty Infinite Warfare

The idea of science fiction elements in Call of Duty wasn’t much of a problem, but the introduction of full-fledged space combat makes Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare a sci-fi game. The players vocally criticized the deviation from the regular storyline of Call of Duty, but the developers haven’t initiated any changes.

The beta includes wall run and double jump. Even though Call of Duty: Infinite Wars downplays powered-jumps and different technology-assisted acrobatics, the game feels like a traditional modern-day Call of Duty.
