There are rumors going around lately that Abby Lee Miller has already been fired from the upcoming seventh season of the dance competition reality TV show “Dance Moms” after it was shown during the recently aired episode 28 of Season 6 that the dance leader was canned by Kendall Vertes and her mother Jill.
While it is true that Kendall Vertes fired Abby Lee Miller as her music manager, the young dancer cannot do the same on the dance leader with regards to “Dance Moms,” note many critics.
After all, Abby Lee Miller and her dance studio, the ALDC, are still the collective glue that holds all the young dancers and “Dance Moms” together.
The rumored firing of Abby Lee Miller as music manager of Kendall Vertes got blown out of proportion when her mother Jill publicly announced it in front of the cameras during episode 28 of Season 6 of “Dance Moms” that aired on October 11.
As a result of the humiliation, Abby had a major breakdown in the same episode because she did not take the news of her firing quite well, reports the Parent Herald.
Abby Lee Miller did not take her being sacked lightly and kindly as she yelled at Kendall and said that she’s a nobody and she is nothing.
But Jill retorted in defense of her daughter by saying that Abby used the kids to put her where she is now in the show and in her life.
Kendall decided to fire her dance coach as her music manager after failing to release her latest album.
The decision of Kendall is strongly supported by her mother Jill who is also unhappy with Abby’s management of her daughter’s music career for some time already. In fact, Jill has also sent a letter to Abby’s lawyer asking to dissolve their partnership.
Did not treat Kendall well
In a recent interview, Jill said that Abby did not treat her daughter quite well, which prompted her to end the management contract with the dance leader. She explained that if Abby managed to accept her faults and apologized, Jill said that she might just consider taking her back.
The mother of Kendall said that they have been unhappy for some time now that Abby has been sitting on an entire album of Kendall’s music. She explained that she would take a whole lot of her to forgive and forget how Abby mishandled Kendall’s music.
Jill said that if Abby comes to her and admits that she messed up and offer to help put Kendall’s songs out, she might just reconsider too, clearly opening the door for the dance leader to take back her position if she wants to.
One thing is clear from the speculations is that Abby Lee Miller was not fired from “Dance Moms” and the real problem that might force her to move out of the show soon is the court decision regarding her fraud charges for declaring bankruptcy even though she is not bankrupt and for not declaring her true income statement.
Making her students do her dirty work
As an indication that Abby Lee Miller is still very much part of Season 7 of “Dance Moms,” she recently took to Instagram where she showed how she put her two dance students to work.
She said that she had two of her students, Kendall Vertes and Kalani Hilliker, do some manual labor over the weekend while filming for Season 7 of the popular TV series on Lifetime.
Abby posted a shot of her elite junior students handling several household items, including pillows and towels, while trying to maneuver them into the trunk of a car, details the International Business Times.
