Adam Lambert and Sam Smith are rumored to be working on a music collaboration that would surely be historic in the music industry. Both artists are openly gay and are also the best of friends and their collaboration would surely be warmly accepted by music fans worldwide.
Some critics are actually saying that the possible collaboration of the two great artists would likely be an emotionally-laden pop track blending their styles and voices, notes Radio.com.
The rumors about the collaboration between Adam Lambert and Sam Smith started gaining full traction when they were spotted together recently touring in London.
Lambert was also in the capital for sessions on his new album. He was said to be working on a new material when he took to Instagram to share a video of himself with Sam Smith.
The social media post sparked rumors that the “Writings on the Wall” singer will be appearing on Lambert’s next record, reports NME.
Working on new song materials
In a subsequent post on Twitter, the “Ghost Town” singer confirmed that he was in London to work on a new material and said that he had a great time creating some new songs in London this week. He also said that Chapter 4 is on a distant horizon, referring to his fourth album.
His publicist, Shoshanna Stone, also confirmed that Lambert was indeed recording some new songs in the UK capital.
Both Adam Lambert and Sam Smith or their representatives have yet to confirm their music collaboration. Sam Smith is due to release his follow-up album to his “In The Lonely Hour” later this year.
“In The Lonely Hour” was released in 2014 and Sam Smith said that he is now putting his heart even more out on the line in his upcoming album. He also said that he is going even deeper that he actually could not believe that he is doing it. Smith’s first studio album was already deeply personal, focusing as it did on a breakup.
Incidentally, in the video post of Adam Lambert on Instagram, he and Sam were seen riding around London. The two initially just stare comically at the camera before Adam remarked ‘London town’ in an affected accent.
Sam responded back before offering up a new hashtag ‘Rickshaw vibes’ after the jumbling and bouncy ride they are in.
Showcasing his Jewish beliefs
Pop superstar Adam Lambert showcased his Jewish beliefs as he toured key parts of Israel last month relevant to religion.
The “Ghost Town” singer made the tour before his performance with the Queen in Tel Aviv, the capital city of Israel.
It seems like Lambert arrived in the country earlier than his scheduled performance with the Queen so he took time off to make the tour.
From his Instagram posts, it seems that Adam Lambert was fully taken with his trip of Israel. He shared photos from his tour including those taken in Jerusalem’s Old City and a moment of silent prayer at the Western Wall. He also made a sulky pose in front of the Western Wall plaza.
Lambert also visited the ‘Entrance to Jesus’ Tomb’ which is also called as the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.
As expected, Adam Lambert wowed Israelis when he performed with the Queen in Tel Aviv last month. He also shared a photo on Instagram showing himself holding a chalice while performing with the Queen during their concert.
Meanwhile, Adam Lambert is a great music artist but it never occurred to him that he has bred a new generation of artists as well from among his fans.
I loved this article thanks for publishing. I tried to tweet it out but your twitter thingy wasn’t working. A collab between Sam and Adam would be a knock-out for sure. Adam it seems really enjoyed his experience in Israel and it’s a shame he had to shut down the comment sections on his Ig pictures he took there. You can only stand so much negativity.
